Joe Carlini
Joseph L. Carlini is co-founder and Director of Pomerado Technologies where he also leads as the Chairman of the Board for Storage Strategies Inc, a wholly owned subsidiary of Pomerado. Prior to founding Pomerado, Joe was the Chairman of the Board and Chief Executive Officer of McKean Defense Group, Inc., an engineering and technology solutions firm that provides life cycle engineering, sustainment and modernization support, and information technology/enterprise transformation services to the U.S. Navy and other federal customers. Prior to founding McKean, Mr. Carlini was a Group Senior Vice President for Science Application International Corporation (SAIC), managing the $1B, 6,800-employee Naval Engineering and Technology Solutions Group.

Mr. Carlini is the Chairman of the Board of Directors of Satellite Services, Inc, an Employee Owned Company providing base operating support to the Department of Defense. He serves on the board of Automation X, a leading provider of automation products to the Oil and Gas sector. He was Chairman of the Board of ICON Government and Public Health Services, Inc., a wholly owned subsidiary of ICON plc, a NASDAQ traded public company. Carlini also previously served on the Board of CDI Corporation, Inc, a NYSE traded company that was sold to a Private Equity firm. Mr. Carlini was the Chairman of the Board of Trustees for The Catholic University of America; served on the Board of Trustees of Malvern Preparatory School as Vice Chair; and is on the President’s Advisory Council and STEM Strategic Council of the Academy of Notre Dame de Namur. He is on the Board of Directors of the Philadelphia Police Foundation, and the Police Athletic League of Philadelphia.
Larry Burril
Len DeStefano
In his role as Managing Partner at Pomerado, Mr. DeStefano leads a team of seasoned industry professionals with a strategic vision to foster organic growth and pursue targeted acquisitions to enhance the company's market presence. With a wealth of experience spanning both the private and public sectors, Mr. DeStefano co-founded McKean Defense Group in 2006, transforming it from a modest startup with 20 employees into a thriving enterprise with $100 million in revenue.
McKean, which was sold in April 2021, was an Employee Owned company headquartered in Philadelphia, and had over 900 employees with offices in Philadelphia, PA; Washington, D.C.; San Diego, CA; Virginia Beach, VA; and Portsmouth, VA. McKean has been named a four-time “Philadelphia 100” fastest growing company, two-time “Inc. 500” fastest growing company in the U.S. and the “Top 50 Best Places to Work” in Washington, D.C.
Prior to his venture into the defense industry, Mr. DeStefano held senior executive positions with leading companies in the power generation sector, including roles at Koch Industries and TODD Combustion. His responsibilities took him on a global journey, overseeing projects in Continental Europe, Eastern Europe, Southeast Asia, and the United States. Before his private-sector endeavors, Mr. DeStefano dedicated seventeen years to supporting the Naval Sea Systems Command as a civil servant, serving as a Senior Technical Agent with a global scope.

Ray Schaffer
Larry Burrill is co-founder and Director of Pomerado Technologies. Prior to founding Pomerado, Larry served as President of the Readiness and Sustainment Solutions business unit and cofounder of the McKean Defense Group. Larry served on active duty with the U.S. Navy for over 24 years as an Engineering Duty Officer, in positions of increasing seniority ultimately retiring as Captain in 2001. He served in roles both ashore as well as at sea. He served as Chief Engineer in nuclear powered aircraft carrier, USS Carl Vinson CVN-70, as well as a junior officer in USS Downes FF 1070 deploying twice to the Indian Ocean. Ashore he served leadership positions in Program Management and Technical Leadership in Washington, D.C., as well as in Fleet Concentration areas. Larry has served on the Board of Directors as Audit Committee Chair, for McKean Defense Group, Inc.. Larry also served on the Board of Directors for Bringing Hope Home, an organization supporting families in the fight against cancer.
Doug Donegan
A US Navy veteran, project manager and engineer, Doug Donegan has more than 25-years of experience working in the Aerospace and Defense Industry as well as the Intelligence Community, Mr. Donegan is CEO and President of Storage Strategies Inc., a HUBZone company based in Manassas Park, Virginia that specializes in Engineering and IT services for the US government. Doug has previously served on the Boards of Directors for BMT Designers & Planners and ICON Government and Public Health Services, Inc. A licensed Professional Engineer, Doug has held leadership positions with General Atomics, BAE Systems as well as professional organizations including the American Society of Naval Engineers and the US STEM Foundation (co-founder).

Ray Schaffer is a founding member of Pomerado Technologies. Ray is also the President/CEO of Corporate Results Inc. (CRI), where he is responsible for the vision and strategic direction of the company and its subsidiaries. His role includes supporting multiple clients in various CXO roles as he serves as a trusted advisor and problem solver. He has a wide variety of experience working with CXO’s (CEOs, CFOs COO’s and CIOs) in planning and executing mission critical business strategies, developing infrastructures, re-engineering operational improvements and designing and implementing organizational change initiatives. With more than 25 years of consulting experience, Mr. Schaffer has done the planning and implementation of infrastructure for more than two dozen companies ranging in size from very small to large corporations. Ray has led multiple M&A activities identifying potential candidates and ensuring alignment with organizational aims.

Stu Macleer
Stuart Macaleer provides focus on the strategic processes that optimize our financial infrastructure, improve profitability, streamline business operations, and enhance company value. Currently, Stu serves as Chief Financial Officer for Storage Strategies Inc. (SSI), Pomerado's first acquisition. Stuart also serves as a Senior Financial Advisor at Corporate Results, Inc. Previously, he served as CFO for McKean Defense until it’s sale to Noblis and as Deputy Operations Controller for SAIC. Stuart earned a B.S. in Quantitative Finance from James Madison University and a Masters in Business Administration from George Washington University.
